THREE OR FOUR DAYS AND FOUR OPEN WATER DIVES
Your Phuket PADI Open Water course is a state of the art diver education package that takes three or four days dependent on your learning preferences.
The dive course consists of written knowledge reviews confined water (pool) training and four open water ocean dives, and ends with you receiving your PADI open water diver card, which allows you to rent equipment and dive anywhere in the world.
Our aim at Scuba Dive Phuket is getting you in the water and diving at the earliest possible moment.
THIS IS A TYPICAL FOUR DAY SCHEDULE
DAY ONE:
Morning; PADI dive theory manual, DVD and quizzes. Afternoon; pool for confined water dives, where you will start to learn all the skills needed to become a confident diver.
DAY TWO:
Morning in the classroom for dive theory and final exam. Afternoon at the pool for confined water dives.
DAY THREE:
Time to put your learning to the test with your first open ocean dives, practicing what you learned in the pool and allowing you plenty of time to enjoy your first glimpse of the underwater world.
DAY FOUR:
Qualification day and your final open water dives to practice more of the skills you learned in the pool. Lots of time for fun diving.
WHO CAN DO IT:
Anyone from 15 years old, in good general health, who can swim 200 metres and tread water (float) for ten minutes. 10 to 14 year old are able to take the junior Open water course.
WHAT’S INCLUDED:
Four open water dives, hotel transfers, all dive equipment rental and certification card.
WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED:
PADI Go Dive manual (available at dive centre.)
WHAT TO BRING
Towel, swim gear, sun lotion and two passport photos.
